A weekend programme at the LBC for women under the age of 35 to come together, explore the tensions of modern life, hear from Order Members with diverse lifestyles, and clarify how to deepen their practice in a way that amplifies their truest values.

Explore whether ambition is ‘anti-spiritual’ or if it can be a fuel for your spiritual journey. Do we need to redefine success to align with our Buddhist practice?
4.30pm - 6:00pm | Activism with Vimalamani, Kalyanavaca and Amalasri
How do Buddhists approach social change? What’s the Dharmic perspective on activism and changing the world? Learn from Buddhist women actively driving positive change in the world.
10am - 11.30am | Motherhood with Taramalini, Shraddhamalini and Vijayacitta
How does Motherhood change the context for spiritual practice? Hear from Order Members on Motherhood.
12pm - 1pm | Radical Choices: Creating Conditions for Going for Refuge with Liv, Phoebe, Sophie and Jasmine
Young women on how they are making radical changes to deepen their commitment to going for refuge.
1-2 pm | Lunch Join us for a community lunch! Please bring a delicious vegan dish to share and enjoy together.
2pm - 2:30pm | Sound bath with Nina
Allow your mind to marinade in the mornings talks.
3pm - 4pm | Ordination with Sanghadevi, Suryagupta, Jayadhi, and Saccamani
How does ordination impact a person’s life? What does it mean to be an Order Member? Hear from Order Members about the impact of ordination and the journey of training for ordination as a young person.
