Sub25 Third Friday Class with Amalayodhin – 16th Apr
Friday, 16 April 2021 19:00-20:30
Join others aged 16-25 for meditation and a glimpse of the Buddhist vision for life. This month, Amalayodhin will be continuing our series ‘The Dharma Revolution – How Buddhism Can Change the World’, by introducing the figure of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Ambedkar inspired a Buddhist movement in 20th Century India that campaigned against social discrimination in the caste system and initiated a political revolution. What can we learn from the man who said ‘The greatest thing the Buddha taught the world is that the world can only be reformed by reforming the mind of Man’?These Sub25 classes will assume you have some experience of the Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana meditation practices – but if you don’t… just watch the videos here and join us anyway! So that we can ensure that the limited places are used, this class needs to be booked in advance with a minimum payment. We hope you’ll understand that, while we have to manage our events in this way, our classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please do your best to attend if you book as we won’t be able to give your place to someone else.
