Sangha Intensive Retreat
The Rising Moon of the Mind
Sun 3 – Fri 8 Oct
£400 Full (£320 concs.)
Led by Subhadramati & Sthiramanas
The spectrum of positive emotion that arises on the Buddhist path is broad and bright. To activate it we need a wholehearted engagement with our experience, our inspiration and with other people.
Join Subhadramati and Sthiramanas for an intensive exploration of the Metta Bhavana and the other Brahmaviharas. Through these powerful practices, alongside silence, ritual and myth, we'll be cultivating positive emotion as a path to wisdom.
The retreat is suitable for those with at least a few months experience of the Metta Bhavana and Mindfulness of Breathing.
Our retreat centre is in full use again, so please note that this means you will be sharing rooms in the accommodation blocks. In order to minimise the risk of Covid-19 on the retreat, we require you to test yourself twice before you come: i) three days before the retreat starts and ii) before leaving home on the day of the retreat. We will be asking for verbal confirmation of your test result before you board the coach or, if you're making your own way there, as you arrive at Vajrasana.
We provide an optional return coach from the LBC to Vajrasana, which you can add for an extra £50 when you book. Alternatively you can read about other ways to get to Vajrasana here. The retreat will start with dinner at 6.30pm on the first day and end at midday on the last day.
