During this day, led by the Suryagupta, Chair of the London Buddhist Centre, and the People of Colour team, we will meditate together and hear talks on the theme of breaking through our conditioning into love and freedom. The day is suitable for those new to meditation as well as those with more experience. Join in for the full day retreat to make the most of it, or drop into selected sessions.

8.30–9.30am: Meditation (for regulars and newcomers)
10.30am–12pm: Introduction to the theme, talks and meditation
1.30–3pm: Meditation, talks and discussions
4–5.30pm: Meditation, discussion and a closing ritual

In the lead-up to the day, you may want to listen to the LBC Mandala Evening keynote talk by Suryagupta. As part of it, she recounted a dream that for her evoked the tension between our ‘inner temple of meditation’ and the needs of the world; she encouraged us to be big enough and rich enough in our nature to embrace the possibility of that conflict. A great reminder of the wider Buddhist vision.

No need to book, just click the link below to join on the day.

The day is offered freely in the spirit of generosity and we hope that you will be inspired to support our activities by donating generously to the LBC and WLBC.
