The course focuses on becoming more aware of nature. We will learn how to be in nature more fully. When we choose to cultivate that connection we can expect to generate more positive states of mind. This benefit our own and others’ mental health, and the natural world itself.
Our relationship with the environment is now more important than ever before. It is crucial that we develop the sensitivity and robustness needed to look after ourselves, others and the planet. Mindfulness can help us do this.
The course will be based on key principles of mindfulness, including formal meditation training. It will introduce deep listening and mindfulness exercises to be practiced outside.
