Buddhism & Meditation: The Essentials

Join experienced practitioners for a four-week course helping you to establish the fundamentals of the Buddhist path of transformation.

  • Find out who the Buddha was, what he taught, and how you can put that into practice today

  • Get your questions answered and explore the implications of the Buddha's teachings in your life

  • Learn two life-long meditation practices, the Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana, and begin to clarify and strengthen your mind

  • Test out the teachings with 'home practice' exercises and report on your progress in a small group

  • Receive a weekly email with extra resources to help you practise in between sessions

The suggested donation for the course is £60. However, if you’re not in a position to give that, you can make a minimum contribution of £30 or get in touch with bookings@lbc.org.uk.
