Visiting the LBC in person
We're gradually re-opening for in-person activities and now we're bringing back yoga, tea breaks and more opportunities to interact with one another.
Our weekday lunchtime meditation classes are drop-in events but for all our other classes you'll need to book online before joining.
Here are the classes we're running in person at present:
Weekday lunchtime meditation - 1-2pm, Monday-Friday
Tuesday night meditation - 7.15-9pm
Wednesday night meditation - 7.15-9pm
Friday night class - 7.15-9pm
Saturday morning meditation - 10.30am-12.15pm
Saturday lunchtime meditation - 1-2pm
Wednesday daytime Dharma - first Wednesday of the month, 10.30am-12.15pm
Sub25 class - third Friday of the month, 7-9pm

Our reception and bookshop is open from 11.30am-3pm Monday to Friday and 10am-5pm on Saturday. Do come and visit us - you can speak to our volunteer receptionists and make use of our well-stocked shop.
So that we can ensure that the limited places at our events are used, many of our in-person classes need to be booked in advance with a minimum payment. We hope you’ll understand that, while we have to manage events in this way, these classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please do your best to attend if you book as we won’t be able to give your place to someone else. What is the LBC doing to minimise the risk of Covid infection?
We are following the Government’s Covid-19 Secure Guidelines. Here are the changes we’re asking you to bear in mind if you come:
Feeling unwell? – Please do not visit the LBC if you are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms (high temperature/fever or cough or loss of taste or loss of smell). If you have booked and are unable to attend because this, please email email@example.com for a refund.
Cancellations – So that we can ensure that the limited places at our events are used, most of our in-person classes need to be booked in advance with a minimum payment. We hope you’ll understand that, while we have to manage events in this way, our classes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Unless you have Covid symptoms please do your best to attend if you book since we won’t be able to give your place to someone else.
Further Covid-19 precautions – We ask everyone to maintain a 2-metre distance from other people and to wear a face covering upon entering the centre building. There will be a one-way system in operation and the class team will be on hand to guide you. We also ask everyone to wash their hands upon entering or leaving the building. There are hand sanitiser dispensers around the building. In order to help with the NHS Track and Trace program, we ask that you sign in when you arrive at the centre.
Yoga Classes - Please bring your own yoga mat. If you don't have one, we do sell them in our shop. Our yoga teachers will be teaching classes that don't need any props but do feel free to bring yoga blocks or belts if you feel that you need one. You can remove your face covering once you are on your yoga mat. There will not be any changing facilities available - please arrive changed and ready for the class. Unfortunately, our yoga classes are not suitable for pregnant women.
